Hi. I'm feeling font fever again. Bear with me. If your students are studying famous explorers, they'll invariably have to discuss the fearsome scoundrels who tormented many an ocean voyager. If so, why not share some pirate fonts with your learners? You'll treasure the results.  If your pupils are reading a Dickens or Conan Doyle novel about London, create a little atmosphere with a foggy font.  Want to read a spooky story and have your aspiring writers respond to it?
